Pinkney H. Gilchrist, IV, DMD

Dr. Pinkney H. Gilchrist, IV was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia where he graduated from Aquinas High School. He attended and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Georgia in 1994. He earned his D.M.D. in 1999 from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. While in dental school, he was lucky enough to marry his wife, Emily. They now have three children, Pinkney, Max, and Audrey. Following graduation from dental school, they moved to Macon, Georgia and he practiced as a general dentist for seven years. In 2007, with his wife’s permission, he decided to continue his dental training in the specialty of endodontics at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans, Louisiana. He and his family made lifelong friends,  loved the city, and almost didn’t leave. In 2009, he completed his specialty training and he and his family returned home to Macon.

In his spare time, Dr. Gilchrist has always enjoyed being involved in his children’s sports and being in the outdoors. He enjoys working in his yard and maintaining the office. Whenever he can get away, he loves to hike and fish.

Dr. Gilchrist is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Association of Endodontists, Georgia Dental Association, and the Central District Dental Society.
